Warranty and defective products

Your statutory rights

UbanShop is responsible for goods conforming to the contract. Under Georgian consumer law, rights relating to defects discovered within 2 years of delivery are distinct from any optional manufacturer's or supplier's commercial warranty. This is not a promise of an unconditional 2-year commercial warranty.

For a defect identified in the first 6 months, the law generally presumes that it existed on delivery where the nature of the goods or defect permits, unless we prove otherwise. After that period the consumer bears the burden of showing that the defect existed at delivery.

Report a problem

Email ubanshop@outlook.com with your order number, affected item and a description. Please report visible damage, missing parts or a wrong item promptly, preferably within 7 days. This request does not limit statutory rights. Photographs or a video can help us assess the problem; an unboxing video is not universally required.

Remedies

Free repair or replacement has priority, subject to statutory rules on impossibility and disproportionate cost. Necessary postage, labour and materials are included. If the legal conditions are met, you may request a price reduction or withdraw from the contract. A minor defect does not by itself give a right to withdraw. We will provide case-specific return or inspection instructions without making your legal rights conditional on supplier reimbursement.

Additional commercial warranty

We state a commercial warranty only when verified for the particular product, including its duration, provider, territory and claim conditions. If no additional warranty is stated, your statutory rights still apply. Damage caused after delivery by misuse is assessed separately from an original defect.
